Lindley CE Infant School is a warm and inclusive infant school committed to giving every child the very best start in their education. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated teaching assistant with a keen interest in supporting children with a range ofComplex Communication and Interaction (CCI) needs. Applicants must be able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a school or nursery environment, supporting the learning of pupils with SEND needs, and building positive relationships with children and colleagues.

* Have experience of working with children with SEND, particularly CCI needs (autism, speech and language, social communication).
* Are patient, nurturing, and able to build strong, trusting relationships.
* Can adapt approaches to meet individual needs and respond calmly to challenges.
* Work well as part of a team and have excellent communication skills.
* Are willing to learn and engage with training opportunities to further develop your skill
* Are resilient in the face of challenges.

This post is to commence in October and is on a fixed term basis to support children with Special Educational Needs. Initially until 31 August 2026, continuation of this role will be reviewed subject to future funding and educational needs.
