Respect Integrity Service Excellence The Role: Data Centre Permit Co-Ordinator - Client Account As a Permit Co-Ordinator at CBRE within a Data Centre environment, alongside the Data Centre Supervisors you will be responsible for issuing permits for specific tasks, reviewing applications, ensuring the correct paperwork is submitted, and verifying that all conditions of the permit are met. This role requires close collaboration with Contractors, Data Centre supervisors, and shift teams to ensure safe and efficient operations across the site. You will be expected to maintain high standards in line with CBRE's RISE values: Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence. Key Responsibilities: Book in contractors using the Contractor Calendar populated by Data Centre supervisors. Submit additional access requests as required. Ensure all documentation is complete before contractor attendance. Escalate missing documents to the Data Centre supervisor. Issue permits in accordance with CBRE and QSHE standards. Complete contractor packs and upload them to SharePoint. Work with shift teams to ensure ongoing compliance, including contractor monitoring. Conduct final checks in collaboration with the Data Centre Supervisors to ensure packs meet CBRE and QSHE compliance. Produce and distribute weekly reports of completed works to Data Centre supervisors, Data Centre Cluster Manager, and Operations Manager. Escalate missed tasks to the relevant Data Centre Supervisor for deferral and re-planning. Manage the E-permitting system daily, ensuring accurate and prompt operation. Work with contract support to ensure correct clearance levels for contractor access. Promote and embody CBRE's RISE values across the site. Champion innovation and continuous improvement in permitting and compliance processes. Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Previous experience in an engineering or technical environment is desirable. Possess excellent communication skills, enabling the building of strong working relationships with stakeholders. Hold an IOSH Managing Safely qualification, or the ability to achieve it. Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of MS Office. Person Specification: Remain calm under pressure.
