Seven Social Care is looking for a Childrens Services Asssistant to work with Action for Children as and when needed as an agency worker at Caerphilly Childrens Centre.
6TH 11TH, 12TH, 17TH,18TH, 20TH,24TH,25TH, 26TH ,27TH,28TH. JUNE Covering in a children’s nursery ages 2-3 years of age
Assist with the provision of direct support to children, young people and families as guided, to achieve positive and agreed outcomes, in accordance with organisational policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
In this role, you’ll be responsible and accountable for:
* Providing individually or as part of a team, practical quality care, support interventions and range of activities and experiences to children, young people and families, as advised and in line with agreed plans.
* Undertaking home or site visits/meetings as advised Maintaining effective communication and liaison with children, young people, families, colleagues and external agencies to ensure good working relationships. Being alert to child protection and safeguarding issues and inform appropriate line managers about concerns in line with our safeguarding policies and procedures
* Attending and participating in relevant multi-agency meetings. Organising the achievement of work objectives on a daily basis, including both pre and forward planning.
* Completing relevant forms and use appropriate procedures and IT systems to ensure accurate and contemporaneous recording and retention of information
