Job Title: Procurement Officer
Location: London, 2 days in the office
Salary: £40,000 - £46,000 + benefits
We are supporting a public sector organisation in the search for an experienced Procurement Officer to join their team on an permanent basis.
This role will focus on delivering compliant procurement activity, with particular emphasis on framework-based buying and running compliant tender processes. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, managing multiple procurements and engaging effectively with internal stakeholders.
Role & Responsibilities
* Deliver end-to-end procurement activity including sourcing through framework agreements
* Ensure the correct procurement notices are published in line with regulatory requirements
* Support procurement processes in accordance with public sector procurement regulations (knowledge of PCR 2015 would be advantageous)
* Produce Excel-based reporting and dashboard updates to track procurement activity and performance
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver compliant procurement solutions
* Provide general procurement support within a collaborative team environment
Experience & Requirements
* Previous experience in public sector procurement
* Strong knowledge of framework procurement and tender processes
* Good understanding of procurement compliance and notice publication
* Advanced Excel skills, including reporting and dashboards
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
