About the Role
Your role as a Senior Care Assistant involves supporting the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, ensuring a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Monitoring residents' wellbeing, noting any changes affecting care plans, and updating records accordingly.
* Participating in person-centred care planning, including implementation, monitoring, and monthly evaluations.
* Supporting residents with medication requirements.
* Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development.
* Being a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, addressing requests and escalating concerns as needed.
About You
To succeed, you should embody our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability.
Our ideal candidate will:
* Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* Have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
* Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Possess a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Be flexible and responsive to a range of responsibilities.
