Who we’re looking for
At t2 group, Health & Social Care Assessors are referred to as Personal Development Managers, guiding learners through the entire learning journey with expert teaching, coaching and development support to help them succeed.
We have opportunities for Qualified Health & Social Care Practical Skills Personal Development Managers (Assessors):
* Level 3 – £27,000 + bonus opportunity + salary uplift depending on location to around £29K
* Level 5 – £30,000 + bonus opportunity + salary uplift depending on location to around £32,500
Role Purpose
Support an allocation of Apprenticeship learners to achieve Health and Social Care qualifications. Conduct progressive in-person visits to complete pre-planned observations using a holistic approach. Support with other in-person interventions (e.g., mock Situational Judgement Tests, pre-planned Professional Discussions, invigilation of Functional Skills exams) and gather evidence to support learner progression. Manage your own diary to achieve KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with learners and employers to plan practical assessments in line with apprenticeship standards
* Provide clear feedback on knowledge, skills and behaviours as defined in apprenticeship standards
* Adhere to Ofsted requirements and best practice for teaching, learning and assessment
* Visit an average of 3 learners per day face-to-face
* Manage learner observations to ensure completion within funded programme end dates
* Carry out observations of learner practice in the workplace
* Support learners to achieve maths and English functional skills
* Support learners to successfully pass End Point Assessment
* Adhere to external Awarding Organisation standards and internal quality processes
* Submit learner evidence in a timely manner to show progression
* Complete and submit administration accurately and within timescales
* Commit to continuing professional development and share best practice
* Foster collaboration across teams; promote learner health and wellbeing; report safeguarding concerns as needed
Skills & Experience Required
* Passion for education, standards and quality
* Excellent time management, planning and organisation, including travel
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Assertiveness and objection handling
* Professional and approachable manner
* Effective communication skills at all levels
* IT literate; competent in literacy and numeracy
* Relevant qualification (D32/D33, A1, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent)
* Health and Social Care qualification to a level reflecting occupational competency (ideally)
Minimum of 2 years experience in Health and Social Care
