Dollies Cookies is a high-energy bakery specialising in large-scale production of freshly baked, handcrafted cookies. We are currently looking for a full-time Baking Assistant who is genuinely skilled and passionate about baking to become an integral part of our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone with solid commercial baking experience who takes pride in their craft. The successful candidate will be dependable, honest, and hardworking, with the ability to work efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail. A true enthusiasm for baking and creating quality products is highly valued.
This is a full-time position and may require weekend availability, with the possibility of working up to six days per week during busy periods. For the right person who proves to be a strong addition to the team, there is clear potential for a long-term, permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and mixing cookie doughs to specification
* Baking, finishing, and decorating products to a high standard
* Accurately measuring ingredients and operating commercial kitchen equipment
* Packing and preparing customer orders with care
* Keeping the production kitchen clean, organised, and efficient
* Receiving deliveries and assisting with stock control
* Managing orders from takeaway platforms such as Deliveroo
* Working to daily production schedules and achieving output targets
* Supporting with general kitchen upkeep, including washing up
Applicants must demonstrate proven experience within a commercial baking environment, be comfortable working under pressure, and confidently manage multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced setting.
A Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene for Catering certificate is required (training can be provided if needed).
