Altum Consulting are working with a leading media business to recruit an RTR Accountant based in Salford, Manchester. This role will be hybrid, with 3 days working in the office. RTR Accountant role: Deliver accurate balance sheet reconciliations and ensure integrity of financial reporting Prepare monthly revenue and cost of sales reconciliations, including related postings Reconcile stock and investigate aged/unreconciled balances Utilise reconciliation tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy Perform daily, monthly, and year-end accounting activities Support internal and external audit requirements Participate in UAT testing for system enhancements and SaaS updates Collaborate with Finance Operations and RTR teams to resolve discrepancies Maintain and update process documentation and standard operating procedures Meet service delivery targets and support continuous improvement initiatives Contribute to automation and finance transformation efforts Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls Manage priorities effectively and take ownership of personal development As an RTR Accountant you'll be/have: Qualified or Part-Qualified and actively studying for an accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA etc.) Experience in an RTR department, working in a similar role Experience with process automation & system improvements Proficient with reconciliation systems and ERP systems Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills A proactive, solutions-focused approach For further information on this new role please contact Aliza Qureshi on the attached details.
