At St Jude’s Care, our Live-in Carers make a real difference – bringing comfort and confidence to people living in their own homes. You’ll provide one-to-one care – whether helping with personal care, medication support and home-cooked meals, or simply offering companionship over a cup of tea. Every day brings variety, purpose and the chance to improve someone’s quality of life.
What You’ll Do
* As a Live-In Carer, you’ll support clients with personal care in a way that protects dignity, comfort and choice
* Prepare meals suited to their dietary needs and preferences
* Prompt or administer medication safely and on time
* Provide companionship, reassurance and a warm, steady presence throughout the day
* Assist with light household tasks to keep the home clean, safe and comfortable
* Encourage independence wherever possible, supporting clients to stay involved in daily routines

* Paid 1 ½ day induction and full Care Certificate training
* Career progression with opportunities to complete NVQ Level 2–3 and the Level 3 Diploma in Adult Health & Social Care

Your Skills And Experience
* A caring, reliable and person‑centred approach
* Clear communication skills, good spoken English and a calm, reassuring manner
* Confidence working independently in a client’s home
* Right to work in the UK
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
* 6+ months of live‑in care experience
* A driving licence (desirable)
