As an Associate Director in the Fund Operations International team you will be responsible for managing the liquidation/winddown of a number of international real estate funds and SPV's. Your Responsibilities Fund liquidation: Liquidation - Identification of the liquidation options and management of the liquidation/winddown process of both international Fund and SPV structures. Coordinate the parties involved in the fund's liquidation,- AIFM, Depositary, advisors, service providers; Accounting - review of annual statutory financial statements in accordance with required GAAP (US, Lux etc) /liquidation accounts and liquidation reports Overseeing any quarterly reporting processes Tax - working with tax advisors and applying tax advice as part of liquidation process Audit - manage fund and SPV audits where required, addressing country specific issues; Service providers - working with service providers on a day-to-day basis, including fund and local accountants, tax advisors, auditors, liquidator commissaire, banks and lawyers. Internal teams - working with Funds Management and Asset Management teams to support the liquidation process. Other - organising board meetings and resolutions etc What we look for Skill set focus: Team player who can develop productive working relationships with internal teams and third-party service providers. Has an up-to-date knowledge of relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, tax requirements and liquidation process. Good communicator with strong analytical skills Must be able to prioritise and manage multiple deliverables. Project management skills overseeing the liquidation process. Competencies / qualifications required: Must be a Chartered Accountant Strong attention to detail With at least 5 years of international real estate fund and SPV accounting and management, multi jurisdiction liquidations/winddowns Good understanding of corporate law in UK and knowledge in Lux corporate law would be an asset Must have experience of UK and Lux fund structures Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS Strong knowledge of tax compliance and tax liquidations requirements.
