Holroyd Howe is looking for a Deputy Hospitality Manager to join the team at Haileybury College.
As a Deputy Hospitality Manager, you will be a key leader, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, driving business growth, and ensuring the success of your team and on-site Cafe Bar and Restaurant. You should have a proven track record in strategic leadership and creating a positive, inclusive working environment.
Job Description
The Deputy Hospitality Manager will support the GM in overseeing events, the restaurant, and the cafe bar by maintaining standards, driving sales, and building relationships with clients.
* Supervision and Training: Recruit, train, and supervise catering staff, including servers, chefs, and support personnel. Set expectations and provide ongoing feedback.
* Quality Control: Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards. Address issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Logistics Management: Oversee event flow and restaurant operations, manage inventory, and coordinate with back-of-house staff.
* Customer Service: Foster positive relationships with clients and guests, handle inquiries and dietary requests professionally, and solicit feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* Experience in large-scale hospitality events, banquets, and sit-down dinners
* Excellent product knowledge (food/beverage)
* Experience in F&B operations
