Job Summary:
Buyer Assistant Intern is responsible for managing purchase order lifecycles, updating reports and trackers, analyzing global stock, expediting orders, and ensuring timely product delivery. Collaborated with cross-functional teams, handled vendor invoice queries, supported GRIR/vendor invoice management, and attended NCR meetings.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Manage the full lifecycle of purchase orders within indirect procurement.
* Update cross-hire reports and maintain trackers in line with purchase orders.
* Analyse system reports to monitor and check global stock.
* Collaborate with Trade Customs Compliance and other departments.
* Update systems with product delivery times.
* Expedite purchase orders to ensure timely fulfilment.
* Resolve vendor invoice queries by running reports and providing feedback on payments.
* Execute GRIR (Goods Receipt Invoice Receipt) and Vendor Invoice Management reports, analyzing payment issues and liaising with Accounts Payable for resolution.
* Raise management of change requests/exemptions and process urgent payments when required.
* Attend weekly NCR (Non-Conformance Report) meetings.
Essential Requirements:
* Supply Chain and Procurement bachelor's degree (or currently studying),
* Proficiency in SAP
* Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (advanced level preferred)
* Good communication skills including English proficiency
