Part-time role available- 20 hours per week. To be successful in this role previous activities worker experience is essential as you will working with non-verbal, wheel chair users with complex needs. You must be a driver and flexible as there may be some possible weekend/evening weekend required (with notice).
From 1 December 2025, enhancement rates of £1.00 per hour will apply to night working (8pm Monday to 7am Friday) and weekend working (8pm Friday – 7am Monday). This does not apply to sleep-ins.
Our service is located in the rural village of Staplehurst, Kent where we actively involve its service users in their local community and take part in a wide range of activities using local resources.

About the role
As an Activities Worker you will deliver a range of appealing and engaging social/recreational activities, providing exciting opportunities for our residents. Organising outings and events, your creative flair and passion to provide variety and choice will really make a difference to the lives of people with a disability that we support.
You may be helping to organise a large-scale service social event, finding common interests amongst a smaller group or trying out everyone’s baking skills, there will certainly be a range of exciting things to get stuck in to - creativity is key!
