About the Role:
This role is ideal for someone with experience or a background in the creative arts, therapy, drama or sensory-based work. You’ll be working closely with children who have complex needs including ASD, SEMH, behavioural challenges, and other individual learning requirements.
You will support both 1:1 and small group sessions, using creative methods to help pupils develop confidence, regulate emotions, and engage in meaningful learning. All pupils have an EHCP, and you’ll be provided with clear guidance to ensure continuity and consistency in your support.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver creative, sensory or therapeutic activities tailored to individual needs
* Support pupils with complex SEND in the classroom and on a 1:1 basis
* Encourage emotional regulation, confidence and engagement through arts-based methods
* Adapt to different learning styles and behaviour needs with a proactive, positive attitude
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and therapists to ensure a consistent approach

* A background in Art, Drama, Therapy, Music, or Sensory Learning
* Experience supporting children or young people with SEND and/or SEMH
* Creativity, flexibility, and a resilient, nurturing attitude

Hours & Pay:
* Full-time, term-time only (39 weeks per year)
* Monday to Friday – exact start/finish times in line with the school day
* Salary based on experience and responsibilities (paid weekly through Protocol Education)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
