Fuel Pump Technician
Barton Under Needwood
Duration: 3 months plus
Working hours: 7am till 5pm, early finish on a Friday (1pm)
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure your own health and safety and that of others, promoting a positive health and safety culture within the workplace.
* Meet all health and safety obligations and adhere to company policies.
* Report safety concerns, hazards, accidents, and incidents by the end of each shift for investigation and prevention of re-occurrence.
* Maintain activities and actions that support the company’s ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001).
* Document all work activities and Total Performance Maintenance.
* Troubleshoot fuel system issues related to engine testing.
* Install and repair fuel systems and components.
* Inspect fuel systems.
* Audit test equipment used for fuel pump/injector testing.
* Perform routine or preventive maintenance on fuel pump/injector test equipment.
* Report results of fuel pump & injector tests.
* Undertake training as required and mentor trainees/apprentices when applicable.
* Comply with all relevant quality, health & safety, environmental, and HR policies and procedures.
* Support all relevant 5S activities.
* Follow line manager’s instructions.
* Maintain good attendance at work.
Background & Experience:
* Ability to work within a changing environment with deadlines and short lead times.
* Good knowledge of fuel system components, calibration, phasing of different fuel pumps, bench testing, and report preparation.
* Ability to take on additional responsibilities within skills and abilities.
* Contribute positively to team performance.
