We are seeking a Foundation Apprenticeship Trainer to deliver learning programs in Foundation Apprenticeship subject areas to groups of students. The role involves ensuring compliance with the Scottish Qualification Agency (SQA) and Skills Development Scotland (SDS) standards, providing support, guidance, and advice to service users, Council staff, and local companies as part of the wider Foundation Apprenticeship team.
The successful candidate should demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the service and the organization.
This is a fixed-term position available until 01/05/2026. Part-time applications may also be considered.

Requirements
This role involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If the candidate has spent three or more continuous months outside the UK in the last five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks. Additionally, at least one reference from your current or most recent employer is required.
