We have a great opportunity for a Process Technician to join our Cassington Sewage Treatment team. No prior experience in the Water industry is required; we welcome applicants from outside the sector, bringing fresh perspectives and ideas.
You will be part of the frontline operations team responsible for sewage treatment sites. This essential role is critical for the operation of our facilities, working in all weather conditions to carry out various tasks that ensure the wastewater treatment works operate efficiently, maintain supply to customers, and protect the environment. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance of equipment to support plant operations.

What you’ll be doing as the Process Technician (Waste):
* Performing scheduled maintenance on plant and equipment to enhance resilience.
* Operating and cleaning equipment to meet operational and safety standards.
* Responding to reactive jobs following equipment failures.
* Maintaining site cleanliness and conducting safety and security checks.
* Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and procedures.
Base Location: Cassington STW - OX29 4EB
Working Pattern: 38 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 7:30 am – 3:36 pm, with standby and overtime opportunities that offer additional pay.
We are looking for you to:
* Be self-motivated, disciplined, eager to learn, and proactive with a can-do attitude.
* Take ownership of faults, analyze problems thoroughly, and resolve issues efficiently.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Work effectively within a team and contribute to continuous improvements.
* Be willing to undergo safety training.
* Have knowledge of health and safety standards.
* Hold a full UK driver’s license.
