Base Location: Doncaster
Caseload Location: Covering the Midlands and South Yorkshire, with travel typically around an hour's drive. Flexibility is key as part of our collaborative team approach.
Hours: 21 hours per week (3 days)
Salary: Up to £38,000 prorated

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents. You should be ready to collaborate closely with foster parents to ensure meaningful supervision of placements.
This role is demanding yet rewarding, encompassing quality assurance and training for both prospective and current foster parents. Strong report writing skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines are essential.
Requirements:
* Hold a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent
* Previous experience in children and families social work
* Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining to children's services
* Good IT skills
* Flexibility in working patterns and travel
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Providing direct support to foster parents within a manageable caseload for high-level supervision
* Regularly supervising allocated foster parents, monitoring their practice and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
* Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to ensure full participation in safeguarding and child protection processes
The successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS Check, which will be covered by Fosterplus.
