Toughglaze UK Ltd is looking for a full time cleaner to start immediately and to work full time, Monday to Friday from 7.00 to 4.00 pm. We are looking for a cleaner who will be cleaning the office areas (including kitchen, board room and toilets) and warehouse kitchens and toilets.
The role:
-Cleaning the entire building. This will includes cleaning the office spaces, kitchens, restrooms and boardroom. which will include: dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting and making sure all bins are emptied.
-Cleaning designated facility areas in both factories and offices maintaining general good housekeeping in the company.
Responsibilities:
Cleaning both factory toilets and kitchen and office including the kitchens, toilets, corridors, office space, board room etc.
Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities i.e. Daily cleaning check lists
Carry out heavy cleansing tasks i.e. Carpet cleaning
Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
Stock take and maintain supply rooms - Checking stock and supplies i.e. Kitchen, washroom and first aid boxes
Making monthly shopping lists on stock and equipment needed
Following and complying with all health and safety regulations and act in line with company policies.
Maintain equipment in good condition
Report on any shortages, damages or security issues
Requirements:
Proven working experience as a cleaner
Ability to handle cleaning machinery
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
Knowledge of basic English language
Professionalism along with speed and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and remain motivated
Prioritisation and time management skills
