We are looking for a talented HR Advisor to join our established HR Team in Leyland, Lancashire. This role will suit individuals that are looking to be part of supporting the future of commercial vehicles in a rapidly changing industry.
The role
* Co-ordinate employee Recruitment and Selection activities including:
o Internal and external advertising
o Selection and use of appropriate psychometric tests and interpretation and feedback of results
o Interviewing candidates
o Issuing contracts of employment
o Liaising with line managers
o Liaison with external recruitment and advertising agencies
* Analysis, reporting of absence data and co-ordinate & control of day to day absence management activities
* Handling disciplinary, capability or grievance issues
* Handling employee relations issues
* Providing employee support and advice
* Continuous improvement activities including analytical problem solving, Six Sigma projects and development of HR working processes
* Ad hoc HR projects including employee development and policy research
What We're Looking For:
* Experience of HR activities and employment law is essential
* High level interpersonal skills including both empathy and assertiveness are essential
* A demonstrable ability to work to tight deadlines and balance conflicting work requirements
