A reputable provider of landscaping and grounds maintenance services is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee high-profile contracts across London. This key role involves managing day-to-day operations, ensuring service delivery standards, building strong client relationships, leading teams effectively, maintaining health and safety compliance, and driving financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the daily operations of the contract(s), ensuring delivery of services, contract compliance, staff performance, safety, and financial targets.
* Act as the main point of contact for client representatives, maintaining strong professional relationships and identifying opportunities for service improvements and additional works.
* Manage and develop staff, including planning schedules, supporting performance and development, recruitment, and maintaining HR best practices.
* Work closely with senior management to ensure contracts meet financial goals, monitoring budgets, tracking expenditures, and assisting with monthly reporting.
* Promote and enforce health and safety protocols, including producing and reviewing risk assessments and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Requirements:
* Proven experience managing grounds maintenance contracts, ideally with exposure to public realm or park environments.
* Strong IT proficiency, particularly in reporting and financial tracking.
* Basic understanding of financial performance within service contracts.
* Full UK driving licence (clean).
