In this role you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.
Hours
Monday to Friday - 08:30 - 16:30
This is a part-time role working 30 hours per week and flexible working hours can be considered.
Salary
Youll receive an annual salary up to £47,466per annumFTE- depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As aOccupational Therapist,your responsibilities will vary. You will
* Be responsible for the provision of occupational therapy assessment, treatment and evaluation.
* Provide visible and professional support to ensure the delivery of high quality patient care and rehabilitation aimed at improving or maintaining independence.
* Working with a caseload of patients with varying difficulties including complete health and social care needs; responding effectively to the changing needs of the patient caseload, managing the sometimes conflicting priorities of prevention of admission and discharge.
* Youll assess and order equipment as identified by patient need and allocate work to OT assistant or care staff as necessary. Establishing communication networks with other team members, patients and other health and social care agencies, attending joint visits with other professionals as required.

Requirements
* Diploma/ degree in occupational therapy with current professional qualification (HCPC)
* Post registration experience and evidence of Continued Professional Development
* Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
* Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP and national standards

You will provide treatment for patients with complex, severe and enduringneeds. Ensuring written and electronic records and activity data are maintainedin accordance with Practice Plus Group policies
Deliver Non-judgemental care,building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries. Youwill implement occupational therapy interventions, provide baseline assessmentof patients level of functioning and identify care planning issues to deviserealistic and appropriate treatments plans. Arranging/attending caseconferences as appropriate to patient need.
