About the role
As Web Editor, you will be responsible for making the brand's copy shine, while ensuring their customers have all the facts they need to book their experience without any hassle. You will be responsible for proof‑reading, fact‑checking and ensuring the tone of voice is consistent across both websites.
Main responsibilities
* Check copy for grammar, spelling, factual accuracy, house style and tone – and rewrite where necessary
* Work closely with our SEO team and content agency to deliver error‑free, bang‑on‑brief landing pages at scale and to deadline
* Support with SEO copy optimisations of our landing pages, ensuring accuracy, tone of voice and all SEO requirements
* Support day‑to‑day copy edits on additional content such as landing pages, newsletters and social media
* When necessary, make blog content look incredible, with appropriate and inspirational imagery
Skills and Experience needed
* Excellent web‑editing skills and at least three years’ experience in a similar role
* Excellent attention to detail and a stickler for accuracy
* Ability to craft copy that hits the tone of voice mark every time
* A solid understanding of SEO and how to optimise content without compromising brand guidelines
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work within a fast‑paced, demanding working environment, including meeting tight deadlines
