A well established architectural practice is looking to recruit an Architectural Technician or Technologist to join its technical team, working primarily on residential housing projects.
This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys the production of detailed residential house packs, working within a structured technical environment and supporting projects through the later design stages.
This consultancy also works within sports and leisure, mixed-use developments, Passivhaus designs, and has recently shifted its attention towards retrofit projects. Their primary focus is constructing energy efficient buildings, prioritising a low carbon footprint and adhering to sustainable design principles.

Role & responsibilities:
Producing detailed residential house packs for planning and construction
Preparing general arrangement drawings, plans, elevations, sections and construction details
Developing technical information in line with client, planning and Building Regulations requirements
Supporting coordination with consultants and external stakeholders where required
Assisting with updates, revisions and management of drawing packages
Working closely with senior team members to ensure consistency and quality of technical output
Requirements:
Experience working as an Architectural Technician or Technologist within a UK practice
Previous experience on residential / housing projects is highly beneficial
Confident producing clear, well-coordinated technical drawings
Good working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and residential construction methods
Organised, detail-focused and comfortable working to deadlines
Revit experience would be a very appealing advantage
