Job Description:
Keyline Civils Specialists is the UK's number one supplier of specialist civils and drainage solutions, and specialist rail and utilities materials. We’re part of the Travis Perkins Group and have been recognized as one of the UK’s top employers since 2010.
We’re seeking individuals with potential to become future leaders within our business to join as a Sales Assistant. You should be eager to work across all areas of our business with the ambition to build a long-lasting, successful career with us.
What will you be doing?
In Branch life at Keyline, you can expect excellent customer service and a supportive team. You will gain exposure to various areas within your branch, helping you identify your strengths and interests for your career development.
Your responsibilities include:
* Helping deliver high standards of service by being helpful and friendly, building good relationships with customers.
* Talking with customers over the counter and on the phone, taking orders, providing quotes, and offering solutions and products.
* Using our point of sale systems, with full training provided.
* Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment, prioritizing safety at all times.
* Using your product knowledge to assist with inquiries, provide information, prepare quotes, and help customers with their purchases.
You will join the Swansea Keyline team, a well-established, friendly, and experienced group of 10 staff members. This customer-facing role is fast-paced, and we seek enthusiastic individuals who can contribute positively to our branch culture and safety standards, regardless of previous experience.
From the start, you'll be supported in your development through our Keyline Civils Specialist Certificate, a 12-month Apprenticeship that equips you with the necessary skills and knowledge. Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll explore our safety culture, products, services, and what makes us the number one choice for our customers.
Our apprenticeships focus on your growth, including study time integrated into your workweek, with comprehensive support such as coaching, mentoring, and technical training. Successful completion can lead to further career development within our company, up to executive levels.
In 2022, we were ranked as the 11th best employer of apprentices and 33rd overall, reflecting our commitment to excellence.
What’s in it for you?
* A competitive salary and annual bonus.
* Group Life Assurance / Pension Scheme.
* Discounts with over 1,000 retailers.
* Recognition awards, including 'in the moment' and long service awards.
* Health & Wellbeing support, including Employee Assistance Programmes.
* Financial wellbeing tools via Wagestream App.
* Salary deducted loans.
We aim to be a truly inclusive employer where everyone feels safe, welcome, and confident to be their authentic selves.
