Banqueting/Buffet Chef – Exciting Opportunity
Location: Arden Hotel & Leisure Club Solihull NEC
Salary: Competitive Hours: 25-30 hours per week (including weekends as required) Mostly day shifts.
We are looking for a passionate and creative Banqueting/Buffet Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled chef with experience in large-scale catering, buffets, weddings, conferences, and special events.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and presenting high-quality buffet and banqueting menus for events of all sizes.
* Ensuring consistency, creativity, and excellent presentation across all dishes.
* Working closely with the Head Chef and Events Team to plan and deliver bespoke menus.
* Managing food preparation for large groups while maintaining efficiency and high standards.
* Complying with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations at all times.
About You
* Previous experience as a Banqueting, Buffet, or Event Chef.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle high-volume service.
* A flair for creative presentation and menu development.
* A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding food.
* Food Hygiene Level 2 or higher (preferred).
