We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Joiner to join our small team. The successful candidate will be responsible for high standard of work. Experienced Joiner with qualification certificate and Self Employed CIS card. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your carpentry expertise. Work on a new build site to complete all second fix joinery .The site is Miller Homes (St Modwen) Blythe Bridge, Stoke on Trent
Own transport and site times 7.30am pm
Duties
* Fabricate bespoke joinery components according to technical drawings and specifications
* Assemble structures using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
* Install wooden frameworks, roofing structures, and other building elements on-site
* Perform carpentry tasks including cutting, shaping, and fitting timber or other materials
* Assist with construction painting, plumbing, masonry, or electrical work as required
* Conduct heavy lifting of materials safely and efficiently during various stages of projects
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety standards are met
* Collaborate with other tradespeople such as masons, plumbers, electricians to complete projects seamlessly
* Interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately for precise execution
Qualifications
* Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry or joinery roles within construction or manufacturing environments
* Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers; and power tools including drills and saws
* Knowledge of roofing techniques, masonry work, plumbing systems, electrical wiring is advantageous
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights if necessary
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in measuring and fitting components
* Physical fitness to undertake manual labour over extended periods
* Relevant qualifications or apprenticeships in carpentry or joinery are preferred but not essential
* Experience working on construction sites or in workshop settings is desirable

Pay: £20.00-£28.00 per hour
