About the Team:
Our dedicated team works tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that every corner of our facilities is in top-notch condition, ready to host thrilling matches and memorable events.
From managing the upkeep of our stadium and training grounds to overseeing logistics for game days, we are committed to excellence in every detail.
The Opportunity:
In this role, you will be responsible for fault finding, rectification, and testing of plumbing and heating systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. You will also carry out small installations and project works, contributing to the improvement and enhancement of our facilities. Your expertise will extend to inspecting and testing mechanical systems, including Temperature Control Valves (TMVs) and legionella compliance, ensuring all systems meet regulatory standards.
As part of the maintenance team, you will participate in the reactive call-out rota and assist with general maintenance tasks as needed. Keeping accurate records of completed works is crucial, and you will liaise effectively with fellow maintenance staff and management to ensure seamless operations. You will also manage and support contractors while adhering to the Club’s security, stock control, and key holder procedures. A strong understanding of our Health & Safety Policy is essential, alongside excellent organizational and communication skills. Your proactive approach to tasks, commitment to exceptional customer service, and logical thinking during fault-finding situations will be key to ensuring the safeguarding of Academy players, young fans, and vulnerable adults in our care. What We Ask For:
To be successful in this role, you should hold relevant certifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds. Being Gas Safe registered, or actively working towards registration, is essential for this role. Additional qualifications in renewable energy systems, such as solar thermal or heat pumps, will enhance your application and reflect our commitment to sustainable practices.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in both domestic and commercial settings, showcasing a robust background in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating systems, boilers, and plumbing fixtures. You should be adept at troubleshooting and solving complex heating and plumbing issues, demonstrating strong technical skills alongside excellent diagnostic and repair abilities. Attention to detail is crucial, as is the capacity to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong communication skills will enable you to interact effectively with clients and collaborate seamlessly with team members, ensuring efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
