Hull City Council is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and experienced professional to step into a Senior Education Welfare Officer role. Following an internal promotion, we're looking for a dynamic leader to join our forward-thinking Education Welfare Service and help shape the future of school attendance across the East locality.
As a Senior Education Welfare Officer, you'll lead a multi-disciplinary team working closely with schools, families, young people, and partner agencies to tackle barriers to good attendance. You'll be at the forefront of delivering the council's statutory responsibilities under Section 441 and 441A of the Education Act 1996.
We're seeking an innovative, highly skilled professional with proven experience as an Education Welfare Officer or in a similar role. With strong leadership skills and experience managing teams in fast-paced environments.
