National Account Manager – National Role Supporting the Amey Account – Monday to Friday – 08:00-17:00 – 40 hours per week

What you'll be doing:
* Developing and implementing strategic growth plans for the Amey account
* Managing and growing a portfolio of national business opportunities across multiple product and service categories
* Building and maintaining strong customer relationships up to board level
* Acting as senior customer contact throughout investigation, development, implementation and operational delivery stages
* Leading customer engagement and supporting the implementation of new solutions
* Retaining and growing prior year revenue while supporting long‑term strategic positioning over a 3‑5 year period
* Working collaboratively with internal departments to identify opportunities and support tenders, bids and proposals
* Supporting and overseeing pricing strategies for all opportunities relating to the account
* Developing and maintaining National Account Plans aligned to business objectives
* Preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
* Maintaining accurate CRM records and customer information
* Supporting company marketing campaigns and wider commercial initiatives
* Identifying further opportunities to strengthen and expand the national partnership
What you'll need:
* Proven track record of successfully implementing and delivering growth plans across major accounts
* Experience managing key accounts with a value exceeding £3m per annum
* Strong commercial acumen and financial understanding
* Ability to influence and communicate effectively at senior and board level
* Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
* Deep understanding of customer development and strategic account growth
* Dynamic and self‑motivated approach with the ability to adapt confidently in customer‑facing situations
* Experience leading, managing and developing individuals or teams
* Strong IT skills and ability to utilise CRM and reporting systems effectively
* Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver
