The Role
Our Team Leaders are responsible for delivering a range of care and support services to residents within the Home. Working under the supervision of a qualified Staff Nurse, you will plan, implement, and carry out appropriate clinical tasks while ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
You will lead the care team during your shift, ensuring the Home operates efficiently and effectively. This includes supervising care staff, supporting the induction and mentoring of new team members, and promoting a safe, dignified, and person-centred environment for all residents.
As a role model, you will provide leadership and guidance to care staff, uphold residents' safety and wellbeing, and foster a culture of respect and professionalism. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate care records, collaborating with activity staff to organise social and rehabilitative programmes, attending staff meetings, and supporting the Staff Nurses in their duties.

Monday 13:45 - 21:00, Saturday 06:45 - 14:00, Sunday 06:45 - 14:00
Thursday 13:45 - 21:00, Sunday 13:45 - 21:00

Requirements
We would welcome an application from you if you have a Diploma in Health Social Care Level 3 Certificate or are qualified at Level 2 and working towards Level 3 in Health Social Care. It would be preferable if you have had previous experience as a Senior Carer or in a Team Leader role.

Although it is no longer a legal requirement for staff working within CQC regulated Care Homes for Older Adult Care in England to be fully COVID-19 vaccinated, in the best interests of our staff and residents, we have decided to keep it a mandatory requirement to work for our organisation.
