The Role:
As a Head of Reservations, you will report to the Sales and Marketing Director and be at the forefront of the group’s reservations.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing the two busiest venues’ reservations and ensuring you surpass weekly revenue targets across the group
2. Management of the reservations team alongside the Sales and Marketing Director
3. Manage training (in Collins settings and up-selling) for all four venues to ensure reservations are constantly optimised
4. Reservations technical set-up of future sites and openings
5. Training of all future reservations recruits
6. Weekly sales reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director
7. Lead weekly sales meetings with GM’s
8. Using DesignMyNight’s Collins software to report on upcoming revenue and develop strategies for streamlining reservations
9. Management of Christmas sales – including handling all sales bookings of more than £10K with the Sales and Marketing Director
10. Work with the sales and marketing director to create new initiatives to drive off-peak sales
11. Management of all sales-related projects, including menu implementation, booking software optimisation and customer comms
12. Analyse competitor activity to suggest sales led initiatives to boost revenue
About You:
13. You have a minimum of 4 years experience in hospitality reservations on Collins software and 2 years at multi-site level
14. A natural and highly ambitious leader with a passion in reservations and growing in the hospitality industry
15. Excellent eye for detail to ensure all projects are delivered to the highest standards
16. A team player, ready to support others and work with departments, at all levels
17. Excellent time management skills
18. Strong communication skills, verbally and written, on the phone, with an ability to deal with demanding customers
19. Highly analytical and goal oriented
20. Highly proficient in excel and sales reporting
21. An attentive management style, not afraid to use your voice to create conversation, give your opinion and suggest change where needed
22. An expert in DesignMyNight Collins booking software
23. A desire to do whatever it takes to achieve customer satisfaction
24. Strong understanding of pre-booked revenue and its optimisation
