Your Role:
As the Repairs and Voids Team Leader, you will oversee our In-House Repairs Service, ensuring that every repair is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You'll lead a team of talented engineers, championing operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
This role is FTC or interim until end of March 2026
Location: Grimsby
Responsibilities Include:
* Leading a team of engineers in providing timely repairs and maintenance for homes and void properties.
* Ensuring compliance with safety standards and that all team members receive the necessary training.
* Conducting regular team meetings to keep everyone informed and motivated.
* Promoting a culture of exceptional customer care, ensuring respect and courtesy in every interaction.
* Managing resources efficiently to minimise waste and optimise service delivery.
* Collaborating with planners to enhance productivity and service efficiency.
* Conducting one-on-one meetings and appraisals to support team development.
* Investigating complaints and upholding the highest standards of service.
* Ensuring that out-of-hours services are adequately staffed and supported.
What We're Looking For:
* A trade qualification in building maintenance or significant relevant experience.
* At least 2 years in a Repairs Service environment, showcasing your ability to lead and manage effectively.
* Strong technical understanding of domestic housing maintenance in the UK.
* Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
* A positive, solution-oriented attitude with outstanding communication skills.
* A full UK driving licence.
