As part of the lunchtime team, you'll play a key role in ensuring pupils are safe, happy, and engaged during their break. Whether supervising in the dining hall or encouraging positive play in the playground, your presence will help create a calm and caring environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise pupils during lunch in the dining hall, playground, and other school areas. Encourage good table manners and healthy eating habits. Promote inclusive and active play, helping to resolve minor conflicts. Ensure the safety and well being of all pupils at all times. Report any incidents or concerns to senior staff. Support with light cleaning and tidying duties after lunch. What We're Looking For Experience working with children in a school, nursery, or similar setting. A calm, patient, and approachable manner. Strong communication and behaviour management skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
