Nursery Assistant – Early Years Setting

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join a supportive early years setting within a welcoming primary school in Newhaven. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about working with young children and looking to build a career in early years education.

Staff work collaboratively to create a positive atmosphere, supporting both children and each other.
The Role
* Support the care and development of children aged 0–5
* Help create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
* Assist with daily routines, play-based learning, and personal care
* Support children’s emotional, social, and developmental needs
* Work closely with staff to maintain high standards of care and safeguarding

* Reliability and willingness to learn
* No formal childcare qualification required – full training provided
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
