At theLeighton Buzzard facility,part theInteriors business,we design and manufacture crew rests and galley structures for theaircraftindustry, as well as providing aftermarket support for all our seating and galley models.To support our existing business and drive future growth, wehave a fantasticopportunityfora 12-month Industrial Placementfor a student looking to pursue a career in Human Resources.
What you will do:
During this placement you will gain hands-on experience across a wide range of HR activities, working alongside experienced HR professionals and supportingreal businessinitiativesto include:
1. Supportingthe HR team with day-to-day activities and administrative tasks
2. Learninghow the employee lifecycle works, from onboarding new starters to supporting leavers
3. Helping tomaintainHR systems and employee records accurately and confidentially
4. PreparingHR documents, trackers, and reports
5. Assistwith assessmentcentres, interviews, and induction events
6. Support early careers and STEMprogrammessuch as apprenticeships, placements, and workexperience
7. Helptoorganiseengagement events, wellbeing initiatives, and employee communications
8. Support employee forums, recognition activities, and site events
9. Assistwith collecting feedback and understanding employee engagement data
10. Support HR projects aligned to business and people priorities
11. Data analysis and reporting using Excel and PowerPoint
12. Act as a first point of contact for basic HR questions

Qualifications We Prefer:
Youwillneed to be a willing learner and committed to achieving both business and personal results whilst working as part of a busy team. With acuriosity about HR, employee engagement, workplacecultureor future people leadership, youwill be studyingtowardsa degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related subjectand be available to complete a 12-month placement starting insummer 2026.
Witha great workethic, you willhave anorganisedapproach toyourworkand be able to manage tasks and meet deadlines.You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skillsand be comfortable workingwith different people and teams at all levels withinanorganisation.You willbe proficient in the use of Microsoft Office(Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Previouswork experience in an office, administration, or customer-facing role with experience of handlingsensitive information appropriately with discretion and integrity would beadvantageous
