We are looking for a highly skilled Play Development Senior Practitioner who is passionate about improving life chances for all through a professional commitment to making a difference for all of our children and young people so that they achieve their full potential. As a Play Development Senior Practitioner, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation and delivery of play activities including outdoor play programmes and projects for children and young people across Fife. Senior Practitioners will support professional play practice in Fife as an integral part of Education and Children’s Services Play Practice Development Team.

Qualification, Registration and Skill Requirements
1. You are required to hold one of the following practitioner level qualifications (or equivalent): - SVQ Level 3 Play work or equivalent
2. Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
3. You should have a working knowledge of the Play work Principles
4. You are required to have high levels of interpersonal skills and abilities which will enable you to work as a member of a team to ensure positive outcomes for all children and young people.
