Job Title: Project Manager/Product Development Lead
Location: Stirlingshire (Scotland)
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
Office based with up to 1 day per week remote working

The role is suitable for a Project Manager or Engineering Manager with experience in managing project aspects such as scheduling, budgeting, and customer interfacing. While experience with ISO 13485 and FDA quality systems is preferred, the company is willing to consider candidates without this background due to time constraints.
Salary on offer:
The salary for the Project Manager/Product Development Lead ranges from £50,000 to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience and skillset. The position offers a hybrid working model of 4 days in-office and 1 day remote, with flexible start and finish times.
The role:
The successful Project Manager/Product Development Lead will join an innovative, multi-disciplined engineering team and should have a background in product development with enthusiasm for working across the entire product lifecycle. The role is primarily focused on project management (strategy, resource allocation, reporting) with close interaction with an OEM customer for whom the company is developing a product. The candidate should possess a friendly, confident, and collaborative demeanor, capable of guiding the customer and leading the project in a dynamic environment.
Key Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Electronics-related field, with experience in product development project management.
* 5-7+ years of industry experience.
* Proven track record in a product development environment, ideally in medical devices.
* Experience leading design engineering teams and managing project scope, schedule, and budget.
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills. Comfortable leading meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders.
* A passionate attitude to champion projects, foster collaboration across departments, and drive projects from initiation to completion.
* A motivated self-starter with problem-solving skills and the ability to develop solutions and escalate issues as needed.
Desirable skills:
* Experience working within Medical Devices, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated sectors, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as ISO 13485, IEC 62304, and IEC 60601.
* Formal project management training (e.g., Prince 2 Practitioner or PMP qualification).
* Driving license and ability to travel occasionally.
