We currently have a great opportunity for dedicated Autism Support Workers to work with an individual who has a learning disability, autism and mental health support needs. The individual will be living on their own so we are looking for Autism Support Workers who can provide 360 wrap around support that covers all aspects of their life throughout the day and night. A service dog lives in the property. To be part of their team, they are looking for the following qualities from a team member: Provide support during the good times and the difficult periods our individual faces in their daily life. Have a good understanding of Autism/ Learning Disabilities/ Mental Health and how this can impact daily living or have experience working within these settings. Full UK driver’s license with access to a car. Prior experience working with individuals with epilepsy or medical training in seizure management. Able to shows patience and sensitivity, particularly during emotional upheavals and anxiety episodes.
