Oxford
Novocure
Posted: 13 October
Offer description

Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death.

We are looking for a Device Support Specialist to join our team and work directly with patients with terminal cancer in the South West UK, including key areas such as London, Oxford, and Southampton. As a Device Support Specialist, you will be supporting patients in their homes on how to use our FDA-approved medical devices.

In this hands-on, patient-facing role, you will be teaching patients on the use of our TTF therapies (Tumor Treating Fields) and encouraging the use of our medical devices. You will travel 60% of the time visiting patient homes and may need to occasionally stay overnight in a hotel depending upon the territory you manage.

What You’ll Do:

* Travel to patient homes, physician offices, and healthcare centres to provide hands-on support and education on our therapies and devices.
* Conduct in-home training sessions and offer ongoing support to patients and caregivers through regular follow-up visits.
* Perform equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and data collection during patient visits.
* Manage your own time and remain flexible to meet patient needs.
* Be part of a patient-centred team that truly values empathy, compassion, and high-quality care.

What We’re Looking For:

* Previous experience in a patient-facing role (e.g., nurse, medical assistant, occupational therapist, healthcare/therapy specialist, medical device support, home care, or clinical educator).
* Experience working with oncology patients is preferred.
* Compassionate, self-motivated, and able to manage your own time effectively.
* Willingness to travel up to 60% each week, including overnight stays when required.
* A valid driver’s license and primary residence within the assigned territory.

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace and encourage applications from underrepresented groups.
