Overview
Trade Sales Manager – Automotive Parts, Brentwood, Essex. Up to £38,000 per year. 08:00 – 17:30 (30-minute unpaid lunch).
I am representing a leading specialist in automotive parts, styling, and performance upgrades. They are seeking an experienced Trade Sales Manager to lead a sales team, drive growth, and build long-term relationships with professional customers, including workshops and specialist performance garages.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, manage, and motivate the Trade Sales Team, monitoring performance and KPIs.
* Drive daily sales to achieve monthly revenue targets.
* Strengthen relationships with existing trade customers and onboard new ones.
* Oversee outbound activity, quoting, account management, and margin control.
* Ensure team adherence to internal processes, SOPs, and credit procedures.
The Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in Trade Sales, B2B Account Management, or Sales Management.
* Background in automotive, aftermarket parts, industrial supply, wholesale, or similar trade-driven sectors.
* Experience leading teams in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
* Strong commercial awareness — understands margins, pricing, stock flow, and processes.
* Highly organised, detail-driven, and able to make quick decisions.
* Comfortable with occasional weekend work for automotive events or car shows.
Key Skills
* Strong leadership with ability to coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to manage KPIs, targets, and daily structured activity.
