Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Barnsley
Salary: £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Key Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant (TA):
* Support pupils in the classroom, both one-to-one and in small groups.
* Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery.
* Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure pupil engagement.
* Support children with additional needs, including SEN where necessary.
* Foster emotional and social development through positive encouragement.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
* A relevant qualification (, Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is desirable.
* A nurturing, patient, and adaptable approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A genuine passion for working with children.
* Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
