Responsibilities
* Act as the interface between NWSSP Local Procurement and customers, representing the function at various levels.
* Inform on the status/priority of category work plans across Health Boards / Trusts and liaise with user departments and NWSSP at all levels to promote procurement input into partner organisations’ business plans early.
* Support the Procurement Business Manager in providing a professional procurement service to the Health Board / Trust, contributing to the development and achievement of the NWSSP Business plan.
* Assist in procurement issues and key projects on behalf of the Procurement Business Manager.
Qualifications
* Qualified to CIPS (Level 4)/NVQ2/3 or equivalent experience.
* 5 GCSEs grade C and above, including Maths & English or equivalent experience.
* Welsh language skills are desirable.
Experience
* Knowledge of purchasing principles and contract law.
* Proven ability to establish and enhance effective working relationships with stakeholders.
* Proven ability to use Microsoft products.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
Desirable Criteria
* Tendering and specification writing.
* Ability to work to deadlines.
* Ability to analyse and interpret complex data sets.
* Ability to work positively as part of a team.
