Position
Radiographer – Albyn Hospital, Aberdeen. Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week. Permanent. Salary up to £34,500 per year, depending on experience, training and qualification.

Albyn Hospital, part of Circle Health Group, invites applications for a Radiographer to join the imaging department. Flexible shift pattern.
Duties
* Perform a wide range of diagnostic radiographic procedures (X‑rays, theatre, fluoroscopy, mobiles) following referral and imaging protocols.
* Ensure high‑quality images, minimising repeat exposures.
* Adapt techniques for individual patients, including paediatrics, bariatrics and patients with limited mobility.
* Provide safe, dignified, person‑centred service; inform, comfort and reassure patients.
* Monitor patients’ conditions during procedures and respond to deterioration.
* Ensure equipment is checked, maintained, used safely, report faults promptly.
* Assist implementation and use of new imaging technologies, techniques and digital systems (PACS, RIS).
* Work closely with radiologists, consultants, nurses, porters and admin teams to coordinate care efficiently and maintain smooth patient pathways.
Requirements
* BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
* HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
* Experience in general radiographic techniques and equipment.
* Good understanding of IR(ME)R, health & safety, infection control and patient confidentiality.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; patient‑centred approach.
* Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Postgraduate experience or additional training in specialist area (CT, MRI, theatre imaging, mammography) desirable.
