Paralegal – Motor Credit Hire
We’re seeking an experienced Litigator to join the team as a Paralegal.
In this role you will manage a caseload of defendant motor credit hire claims, progress files efficiently, draft key legal documents, and work closely with colleagues, clients and insurers to achieve effective case outcomes. The position is hybrid with office attendance in Liverpool 2 days per week (Monday & Tuesday).
Responsibilities
* Managing a caseload of Credit Hire claims, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in handling.
* Conducting legal research and drafting documents, including defences, witness statements and settlement agreements.
* Liaising with clients, insurers and third parties to ensure effective communication and case progression.
* Providing support to senior fee earners and contributing to team targets.
* Ensuring compliance with DWF’s standards and regulatory requirements.
Essential Qualifications
* Proven experience working as a Paralegal within credit hire or handling a litigated caseload independently or in support.
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a varied caseload.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
* A proactive approach, keen attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
Desirable Qualifications
* A strong understanding of Credit Hire litigation processes and principles.
