About the Role
Join Mitie's busy Control Room team in Lurgan as a Security Resourcer/Despatcher where you'll play a vital part in keeping operations running smoothly across the UK. This position involves rostering security staff, managing welfare check-ins, and ensuring clients receive consistent service coverage.
You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where strong communication, problem-solving, and organisation are key. This is an ideal opportunity for someone from a scheduling, coordination or call-handling background looking to build a career in operational support.
Key Responsibilities
5. Coordinate daily deployment of officers across multiple client sites.
6. Create and maintain duty rosters and shift schedules.
7. Respond to calls and manage real-time changes to coverage.
8. Record incidents, welfare checks, and operational updates on internal systems.
9. Liaise with field supervisors, clients and colleagues to ensure service continuity.
10. Maintain accurate records, logs and reports for auditing and compliance.
11. Support the control team with general administrative and communication duties.
What We're Looking For
12. Experience in rostering, scheduling, or resource coordination.
13. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
14. Confident user of computer systems, scheduling tools, or ticketing platforms.
15. Calm, professional and detail-oriented under pressure.
16. Right to work in the UK and ability to pass BS7858 security vetting.
17. Reliable commute to Lurgan for early, mid and late shifts.
