Category Project and Program Management - SF Closing Date 17 July 2025 "Find your role" The Scheme Liaison Manager is to fully manage the scheme/project from the point of a final costing to delivery. The Scheme Liaison Manager is fundamental in the completion of the project and is the liaison between Asda stores and various construction teams we work with. The Scheme Liaison Manager will be an integral part of the successful delivery of a scheme. The Scheme Liaison Manager will ensure that the lines of communication between all stakeholders concerned (Store, Asda House, Contractors, etc.) remain open and transparent thus facilitating a successful scheme. The Scheme Liaison Manager will be involved in the scope and will represent retail in all areas of decision making to ensure what is agreed is right for our colleagues and customers. That planning and preparation is in place to deliver the total scheme, accurately implementing store modular’s, and effective use of resources. It is the responsibility of the Scheme Liaison Manager to build Store involvement costs to deliver a scheme. Using an everyday low-cost method in seeking resources from retail first, before considering 3rd party support. The design team / Scheme Liaison Manager will complete a pre-start presentation pack, covering off plans, programme timescales & phasing of the scheme to drive minimum disruption to the store. Customer and colleague communication is in place delivered through Disruption POS, ordered and installed through the Scheme Liaison Manager for the duration of a project. Staying in contact with stores across all allocated schemes, ensuring communication lines are kept open and any issues dealt with promptly in a timely manner. Construction Manager to be kept up to date with progress. Attend weekly progress meetings to ensure minimal disruption to the store operation and communicate any concerns to the Construction Manager. Support the Construction Manager by being a visible presence on sites, assisting and ensuring schemes are running smoothly, delivered safely and to a high standard. All snagging is to be completed in a timely manner. This is a field based role covering Scotland and Northern Ireland. You will be required to attend Asda House in Leeds one day per month. "Find out about you" Previous experience in a retail environment is essential Cost KRA’s deliverance and accountability Confident in your ability to manage change within a retail environment, with proven results Fluid communicator, able to communicate to an audience of all levels, from Senior Managers, Contractors, Stores and to our Stakeholders Basic Computer Skills are essential, experience of using Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint/Word and Outlook Ability to understand a floorplan drawing Full UK driving Licence (Field based role) Time management, ability to manage multiple projects Adaptable to react to an ever-changing environment Team player- strong team work ethic SMSTS Qualification or similar Previous Experience within Construction/and or Health & Safety is advantageous Everything you'll love To ensure we balance moments where we know we need to collaborate together and the need for flexibility, Asda has a hybrid way of working with a minimum 3 days a week in one of our Home Offices.Over and above this, each area of Asda may have additional requirements which may require spending more days in the office, visiting suppliers, stores or depots.
