We have an exciting position for a Pharmacy Technician to join HMP Huntercombe, a Category C men's prison, located near Nuffield in Oxfordshire.

Hours
Monday to Friday: 07:45 - 17:30
Saturday & Sunday: 08:30 - 16:30
This position is full-time, working 37.5 hours per week. You will be working predominantly Monday to Friday and have the opportunity to work weekends.
Salary
You will receive an annual salary up to £33,454 per annum, depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will include:
* Providing safe and secure medicines management and reconciliation services to the agreed standards.
* Managing prescriptions and interventions, providing face-to-face advice to patients.
* Providing continuity of care to patients upon discharge.
* Building strong relationships within the multidisciplinary team.
* Sharing information related to medicines optimization and drug regimes.

Qualifications required
* Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
* Up-to-date Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
* Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience
While not essential, experience in a hospital or care home environment is desirable.
