We are working with one of Wales most respected and established contractors, known for delivering high-quality major projects across a range of sectors.\n\nFollowing a record year and with a strong pipeline of secured work, they are now looking to strengthen their commercial team with the addition of an ambitious Quantity Surveyor.\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor in the early stages of their career, or someone ready to step up from an Assistant QS role, who is eager to develop within a contractor that offers clear progression pathways and ongoing support.\n\nYou will join a thriving commercial team and gain exposure to some of the region’s most prestigious live and upcoming schemes.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Assist in the management of commercial aspects of live construction projects.\n\n * Prepare and review tender documents, subcontractor packages, and cost plans.\n\n * Monitor budgets, manage variations, and produce valuations.\n\n * Support with procurement, cost control, and forecasting.\n\n * Liaise closely with site and project teams to ensure commercial targets are met.\n\n * Ensure contract compliance and support with contractual administration.\n\nCandidate Profile:\n\n * 2 to 4 years post-graduate experience within a contracting or consultancy environment.\n\n * Strong grounding in commercial processes and contract administration.\n\n * Good knowledge of JCT or NEC contracts is advantageous.\n\n * Ambitious, proactive, and keen to grow within a structured commercial team.\n\n * A relevant construction-related degree (Quantity Surveying or similar)
