Brief Description
As a Roster Clerk, you'll ensure that 80-100 maintenance colleagues are in the right place at the right time to complete essential maintenance activities. This role supports the safe and efficient service for passengers and freight customers. A 5-6 week training course will be provided to equip you with the necessary skills.
You will maintain effective and efficient rosters for employees, ensuring compliance with company standards, national rostering principles, competency requirements, and Terms and Conditions.
Note: This role covers Three Bridges, Brighton, and Barnham.

This new role is part of our initiative to modernize our maintenance function. While experience in rostering staff is preferred, we welcome applications from candidates with the right skills, including:

Daily Activities:
1. Compile and publish rosters using the corporate tool, adhering to maintenance principles and policies.
2. Prepare weekly duty rosters, covering sickness, leave, training, and special arrangements, in coordination with line managers.
3. Manage last-minute roster changes, liaising with employees and managers, and resolving queries.
4. Arrange rosters for medical exams and interviews.
5. Coordinate rosters for safety-critical training and competence expiries.
6. Monitor competency data to ensure shifts are adequately staffed.
7. Work with the Competency Delivery Specialist to maintain records.
8. Analyze fatigue data and report issues to line managers.
9. Provide data for route and delivery unit reporting.
